Ranging from “Alaskan Bush People” to “Deadliest Catch, ” Alaskan stories have become heavily filtered by the media. Journalism professor Robert Prince recognized this, and decided to rectify the situation by creating “Dark Winter Nights, ” a podcast, radio program, and live show where real Alaskans tell real Alaskan stories. “Theres a lot of reality TV shows that just make things up that. They create this caricature of Alaska that they think audiences in the lower 48 and around the world want to see. Theres enough fascinating stuff happening here already. We dont need to make stuff up, ” said Prince. The live shows first began in April of 2014, drawing just a few hundred people. In November of the same year, their second shows audience had grown exponentially, packing Pioneer Park. Their largest show was in 2015 and attracted nearly a thousand people. Although the show took a hiatus while Prince was on sabbatical, he is now back in Alaska and getting things moving once more. Podcasts are being uploaded regularly, and a live show is currently planned for April 2018. “My long-term goal is to take us on the road, ” Prince said. “The world is fascinated with Alaska, obviously, but I feel like Alaska needs to take control of its story and its identity and not let TV producers from L. A. decide what Alaska is like. ” Although the program has been a “labor of love, ” Prince hopes to expand the program soon, and has been working with international podcasts in an effort to expand the audience of the show. Prince is always looking for more stories, so any Alaskan who thinks that they may have a worthy Alaskana story to share can visit the shows website and submit their tale for judgement. Light has the problem that its core weapon, the chevsword, is the only M1 or M2 weapon that you can not buy in the shop past a certain total count. A regular endgame light magna grid will run 5-6 chevswords, which means that beyond the 10 from the shop, you need to luck into a minimum of 10-14 from drops, more if you want to go for some 7 chevsword meme or something. The only way to get drops is to do all your Chev raids every day (EX+ HL) and do Arcarum regularly - it sometimes drops random farmable SSR weapons, including chevswords. Dark light blue. Overall the question is if 5k gems worthy to be paid for 6 pieces of 5* L/D heroes. I suppose, the answer is obvious if you have spare 5k gems. The real question is whether you could get six 5* L/D heroes from a 10 orbs pull. I would say highly unlikely if not possible ar all. level 2 Well nothing is impossible but on average you get 9. 6 L/D 5* heroes from 80 orbs, that includes the specific 5* specific 4* general 4* shards and rewards. So from 10 orbs you can expect a bit more than one 5. The puppets are great value if you need them anytime soon. level 1 I personally bought all fodders even though my highest is an e4, simply because getting all the 5* L/D takes quite awhile without rng or orbing L/D. Po=500 gems each, which means 11 for the 5500 you spend on a fodder, you MIGHT get an 5* from orbing 11x into L/D. level 1 Unless you just dont have that many gems I would go for it. It's about time to code darklight mechanics in with less spaghetti. For as long as it has existed, it has been afflicted by one severe bug or another from showing through walls, illuminating everything in biolabs (plus other places with leaf textures) and now it almost doesn't work at all. I'm not privy to the details of how it has worked (or is supposed to work) but from what it seems there's too much attempt at playing with light to make the illumination effects look good and flexible. Since we're at this point now, it would just be enough if cloakers were either cloaked properly or clearly illuminated from head to toes whenever the conditions of darklight are met. Remove all the fickle factors that are always causing it to fail.
